Space Bound (2)

We feed ourselves with "what if"s, "maybe"s and "who knows"s, because they are so much easier to swallow than "I know"s, "I understand"s and "it's true"s. That's why reality is so hard to swallow. Because, after it's inside of us, it eats us up. Our heart and our soul suddenly become some sort of a burden and we just want to get rid of those feelings, that more and more, start to seem like hungry dogs. And, like the All-American Rejects once said: "and all the wants, and all the needs. all I don't want to need at all." As always, they couldn't be more right.
